As someone who’s played Minecraft and briefly encountered logic gates while studying CS at uni I can confidently assure you that I almost understand what’s going on in those images.
Programming Pokemon Red using Assembly sounds like less of a nightmare than doing it in Minecraft TBH (Even though both would still be nightmares).
It would be, since assembly is written for a machine that already exists. In Minecraft you have to build the machine and create your own assembly first. It doesn’t have to be a complex architecture though.
