      It has — but a lot of those are related to the fact that fracking is being used to extract hydrocarbons. The situation with enhanced geothermal will likely have only a subset of the issues that fracking has caused in oil deposits.

    Sounds interesting if it actually works and is save. Hope it is, diversification is key to energy independence and safety.
