Posters at Hacker News discovered this: Twitter is purposefully making some links slow. Anything going to New York Times (or other webpages that Elon Musk doesn’t like) has a 5-second delay right now.

Twitter and SpaceX are mildly on topic. As long as the front page of RealTesla remains mostly Tesla I’m happy for the discussion to stray slightly.
The chain is that Twitter relates to Elon and Elon relates to Tesla. It’s a weak chain yes, and that’s why there is a caveat where I’ll start deleting topics if there is too much Twitter talk.
Off-topic posts should be tagged with [Twitter] in the title, or other such tags to help people recognize that it’s slightly off topic.
HN and Twitter should both disappear.
