They didn’t even mention the name of the band, meanwhile they gave the full backstory of the very next act which was a French pop star who lip synced amidst this poor professional marching band who got snookered into being her backing performers.

Yea it’s been hard to find footage of the full performance. But I’ve seen clips and yea it seems epic.
Funny personal story about gojira. I lived right near a performance hall, close enough to hear the music and recognise it to an extent. I kept an eye on who was performing for anything I’d be interested in. One day I hear the warm up and sound check. And it was loud and huge. Nothing ever sounded like from this hall. I start to recognise the tune. Confused, as Gojira weren’t listed as performing there, I look them up to find out where they’re touring at the moment. And sure as hell they’d been moved to this hall on short notice or something.
That venue has never sounded more monstrous. I’d almost guess they brought their own PA or something.
Of course the show was sold out and I missed the show. But funnily it feels like gojira are just good at epic surprises.
