Wait, is he angry that they translated the menu into English, or is he genuinely angry about the use of Spanish in a Mexican restaurant? What would a Mexican menu look like if you were not allowed to use Spanish words?

Misleading. He didn’t get mad because there was Spanish on the menu, he got mad because THERE WERE CONDITIONS/CLAUSES ON THE MENU THAT WERE ONLY LISTED IN SPANISH, thus screwing him over.

A bit of an overreaction, but the outrage was perfectly justified.

Sort of. The staff typically help but the guy went off. Link

A man confused about a taco special flew into a rage at a Mexican restaurant and threatened to “call immigration”.

The customer became angry over the bilingual menu at Palapas Tacos in Anaheim, Southern California, when he learnt he could not get the fish taco deal on Monday.

A number of signs are written in both English and Spanish at the restaurant, and the man did not realise a banner advertising fish tacos for $1.99 which read “especial de Viernes” meant it was a Friday special.

CCTV footage captured the man shouting “We’re not in Mexico, we’re in America above the border,” at an employee and yelling at customers in line behind him.

The shop’s owner Juan Del Rio said the member of staff behind the counter was left shaken by the tirade.

He told Fox News his staff often explain the menu to customers, but that “this guy was completely mad, upset”.

Mr Del Rio said he followed the man, who has not been identified, out of the restaurant when he left to try to speak to him.

Having staff inform customers that the deal being advertised is actually not available would generally be considered false advertising, since it doesn’t seem like that clause was available in English but the deal itself was.

It’s amazing that he managed to get all the way to the restaurant without ever going outside.

He could go to estar bucs and then order something grande. Maybe veinte of them grande cups? Am I right? Then move to San Diego and take the Santa Fe to Rancho Bernardino or Los Angeles or Los Alamos so he can visit the Sandia labs. One visit to California man, that’s all I’m asking for. Maybe it’s just a Sacramento from SanYsidro to El Cajon.
