Heard great things about the game, never played it though.
Heard great things about the game, never played it though.
It’s EA Play now, which is actually somehow worse than Origin was.
Still, Titanfall 2 is actually a great game (probably my favourite of the PS4 era) and is well worth a little suffering for.
For some reason I often have games disappearing from my library, like they don’t even show up as purchased in the store…
And I also recently got a notification on top of my library that some games have been removed from my library, but that I can download them again if I go to the store page. It’s really confusing as to why they are ‘deleted’ and why they can’t just show up in my library.
I hate these dumb ‘user experience’ developments where companies are deciding what I should see in my library. I just want to see all my purchases, and have them available to me whenever I want.
What the deal with EA Play? I see their subscription prices and I’m not doing that. Then below that I see the game for $3.99 CAD. Can I just get the game that way and not deal with any extra EA stuff?
I don’t know for sure in this case but some EA games require you to use EA Play as a launcher, even if you buy the game through Steam.
Ah, that makes my decision easier. Thanks for the info!
The desktop app is called “EA App” not “EA Play” which is where the confusion is coming from. “EA Play” is the game subscription service that’s like gamepass.
Ah yea, my bad :(
You have to use their launcher, but you don’t have to get any kind of subscription.
