Are you Canadian? Just curious how much dorming costs are? My son goes to a state school in SoCal and it costs me just under 10K per year living at home. Dorming would triple costs 😵💫
Tuition is about the same here. Residence looks like 6500-11,000 at Guelph depending on the room type. On top of that you also have to buy a mandatory meal plan for most residences (I think there are 1 or 2 you don’t need to because they have shared kitchens). Tuition is about 8000 but from my understanding that would be waived in this case as she has a parent who works at the University.
