“She said she didn’t see us. Didn’t see us. She was very, very upset.”
The driver did stop and is not expected to be charged.
This makes me furious, but it’s completely expected.
Cars are the only weapon where you can kill someone without consequence, even if it was pure negligence or entirely on purpose.
Drivers looking at their cell phone instead of the road are especially shit.
Cell phones and hoods you can’t see over. American trucks have become absolutely massive and leave a huge blind spot in front. Saw a video where a guy was standing in the engine compartment of a Tundra. There was a enough room between the engine and the grill that he could comfortably stand on the ground.
There’s a video illustrating how many kids can be in front of a pick-up truck before the driver can see them… hint: it was A LOT.
@Showroom7561 @jewbacca117 It’s a tangent, but the number of Hiluxs that can be parked around a mining haul truck and be invisible to the truck driver is another visibility video that is enlightening to watch.
The number of times I’ve seen people “stalled” at green lights, only to ride past them and see a phone in their hand is quite unbelievable.
