This seems to be accurately represent me. I know when I was making maps, I had the most fun with the world/continent size maps. The city-size or smaller maps felt like a hassle.
In my games it feels like players want the world/region maps more than the local ones. Playing on a VTT scrambles this a bit as people expect battle maps, but I still spend more time on the region views
Really interesting. I definitely know a lot of times Im just making the maps for me. When I’m looking up what’s the proper arrangement of silverware on a table, I’m probably focusing a little too much on making the map lol
