People are moving to SimpleX because it is FOSS, end-to-end encrypted, doesn’t require a phone number or anything revealing to sign up, and your username changes for each chat you’re in so people can’t try to find you in various groups and try to figure out who you are.

It has literally nothing to do with neo-Nazis, but everything with privacy and making opsec easier.

Wired just doesn’t want people to have privacy, and are trying to smear open source developers by saying Nazis are fleeing to their platform.
