Do we read this as “please don’t coup me” or he’s doing the succdem speedrun?
some things that need to be known:
• Lula’s social media secretary is sometimes (a lot of times) piece of crap.
• Lula is not really a socialist. He is known for promoting reformism and class conciliation nationally.
• Lula’s international policy is to maintain the best possible relationship with any country. That means Lula will never confront a president of another country.
I honestly don’t believe that Lula concerns about a possibility of an US-backed coup. His election was celebrated worldwide, and the first statesmen to congratulate him were from the West. A coup could only reestablish the bolsonarists back to power, and they are not really good at maintaining international relationship, even for the US interest.
