Here’s an exchange between my wife and I, while she was in urgent care after severely spraining her ankle and breaking the 5th metatarsal in her right foot. She has danced ballet since the age of 4. We’re in our middle-50’s now. This was a couple of years ago and she’s fully healed and back to dancing now.
Yep. It was. And he worked out even more for the movie and was super proud of it.
Sad that he ended up in a wheelchair after a life of athleticism.

Me: It beats the alternative.
Wife, after a moment of reflection: Not by much.
It’s my wife’s birthday. She turned 47 today. I’m already 47. I feel old already, so I’m looking forward to my mid-50s.
