        I went to Oklahoma once, the sunset was amazing, even the grass had shadows because of how flat it was out there

          Can confirm, for some reason Oklahoma has out of this world sunsets! The oranges and red are so insanely vibrant

            Damn, so much praise for them. Guess I’ll go see one soon. Maybe this weekend if the weather looks good.

            Any recs on where to catch good Oklahoma sunsets? Preferably in the southern part of the state.

              Broken Bow Reservoir, very SE corner. When I was there in '90 it was the clearest man-made reservoir in the US. Stunning geography, nothing like the rest of the state.

    I live in the flattest state in the union, Florida, and have never seen a view even close to that. Hell, even Oklahoma doesn’t get that flat. Kansas on the other hand…

      Yeah, the Texas panhandle is the flattest place I’ve ever been to. It’s insane.
