My survey showed that most users are not happy with the browser that comes with their computers. If you are using one of those browsers, how about trying something new?
Does your browser have workspaces? Tab stacks? Tab tiles? Windows panel? Page capture? Sync? Custom themes with custom buttons? Web panels? Mouse gestures? Editable keyboard shortcuts?
Want to try a browser that has all of the above and more?

Oh cool, an ad.
Edit: well it worked on me. Looked it all up. Glad to have you here.
@TachyonTele Technically, it’s been posted on the Vivaldi Social instance, so… 🤷♂️
It’s fine. I was a little rash at first.
Seeing development like this on lemmy/fediverse is a great thing.
@[email protected] no mention of ad blocking, enhanced privacy options, resistant to tracking and fingerprinting, not even 1 word on security?
@[email protected] , indeed. I did not mention the tracker and ad blocker we have built in. Good catch!
@[email protected] mainly I’m a fan of a browser that just works and doesn’t fuck me about 👍 so cheers to that too
@[email protected] Vivaldi is a pretty interesting browser. The missing feature for me is the full separation of workspaces - separate cookies, browsing history, preferences, pinned tabs etc. In the same way as Arc, Zen, and Firefox do.
Hope Vivaldi team implements that soon ✌️
@[email protected] I don’t know. Can I have separate sets of cookies for each workspace?
No, you can not at this time. We know that is a feature some would like to have.
Personally I use standalone installs of Vivaldi instead.
