Summary
Aaron Siri, lawyer for RFK Jr. and vaccine skeptic organizations, has petitioned the FDA to revoke approval of the polio vaccine and pause 13 others, citing concerns about aluminum and autism.
Siri has a history of challenging vaccine mandates and filing lawsuits to force disclosure of FDA vaccine approval documents.
Public health experts warn his efforts fuel vaccine hesitancy amid declining vaccination rates and rising diseases like measles.
With Kennedy set to oversee the FDA as health secretary, vaccine policy may face intensified scrutiny under their shared “medical freedom” agenda.
Fucking clown shoes. Disbar the man as a public threat.
This is the bad timeline
Politicians are not doctors and should not be making decisions like this. The polio vaccine has saved countless lives!
Are there any genuinely unvaccinated people out there? I get that people are no longer being vaccinated for flu, covid, etc; but aren’t all the people railing against vaccines actually vaccinated?
I knew one person, in my entire life, that was completely unvaccinated due to being allergic to a component of the vaccines.
That person was the most adamant defender of vaccination campaigns, as being part of a heavily resilient, vaccinated, population meant their chances of contracting potentially deadly but easily preventable illnesses was extremely reduced.
Vaccines save lifes.
If the potential side effects scare go read the potential side effects for ibuprofen. Never fails to fuel nightmares.
I know someone who didn’t receive any vaccinations. They have chronic severe asthma due to pertussis (whooping cough) and also deafness and cognitive impairment due to meningitis. Their parents refused to allow them to be vaccinated for anything because they believed the repeatedly debunked myth that vaccines cause autism.
These myths stem from scientific ignorance, willful or otherwise. There’s more aluminium in a potato or cereal than in a vaccine, but if you don’t understand certain things/are unwilling to learn, it’s very easy to get misled or arrive at the wrong conclusions.
Probably, otherwise there wouldn’t be so many of them.
Are we gonna have to call in the Mario Bros?
Jesus fucking christ.
The actual petition isn’t quite as bad as it sounds: https://static01.nyt.com/newsgraphics/documenttools/e68bd8b142eb7bf0/914e0b90-full.pdf
It’s odd though, the article states there have been trials with six month follow ups, the petition states only ones with three days followups were done. You could dismiss that as him simply being a crank, but the petition also says they filed a FOIA request to the FDA for the studies relied upon, and were only given four documents, which match their assertion. I wonder if the entire thing could be due to someone at the FDA screwing up a FOIA response?
Hey guys, here’s how the whale head sawing off dude with verified brain worms and a 15 year straight heroin streak might actually be right about his disgusting campaign to murder Americans!
