That’s a whole lot of words for “remove import restrictions, stop applying ICE-era regulations to electric cars, stop subsidizing gas and ICE cars.”

In Europe I feel that we need more rather than less regulation. Especially, when it comes to charging infrastructure. We have hundreds of providers and depending on which contract you have, there’s a huge price range for using exactly the same plug.

For people that are fine to use a bunch of apps to research, it’s okay. But to convince everyone, prices need to be more transparent and harmonized.

That’s fine but that’s more new regulations rather than ice regs applying to electric cars; in the US all or nearly all ice regs apply to electric, which means we can’t get small EVs since they don’t have enough mileage per unit of weight. I believe similar nonsense is happening in at least the EU as a poor excuse to stop Chinese imports from flooding the market

Not just expensive, charging infrastructure is poor, specially for those not living in houses.
