I don’t mind going to work seconds after waking up but I’ll be damned if I’m taking it to bed with me

Pretty sure that’s a picture of the Andromeda galaxy so I’m nowhere near there. We don’t have images like that of the Milky Way for hopefully obvious reasons.

It’s not only space, but also time.

You are crying in year 13.800.000.000 after the creation of the universe. In just 200 years, no one alive will remember you anymore.

The year you know is not absolute to the galaxy. We need a different definition of time.

Since sufferring seems to be a world constant, I imagine there are billions of billions of aliens crying in their shower with me.

the posted picture is to remind you not to take it so seriously. Life is all bullshit. You are here for a short time. You die and you are dead. Spend your time enjoying it by living in the moment and stop fearing the future

So, let’s say we didn’t have this society. You being someone who would be crying in the shower before work, would probably not even had made it past infancy.

Good point, if instead of having some good things and some bad things we just had all bad things, then things would be worse.

But, and hear me out on this, what if we had one less bad thing or one more good thing. Then we repeat that. We could get to a better place.
