It’s crazy that 75% off a game that will be turning 7 in October is still $15
Even crazier the first one is 20% at $40 on steam. I know it’s a “remaster” but still.
RDR2 won the Steam “Labor of Love” award last year… That counts as crazy on my list.
Yeah, especially considering the fact that it hasn’t seen any substantial updates basically since it launched. The online side is a mess that’s full of hackers. It’s so bad that you’re basically required to hack just to play online, cuz otherwise you’ll get insta-exploded from across the map by a chud with auto-aim, zero reload time, and unlimited explosive ammo.
Is it worth getting the ultimate edition for 3 bucks more? Or is there no real additional content in it?
IIRC you get an extra robbery mission, a hideout mission, an extra outfit and some more things like store discounts and stat bonuses.
The rest is Online mode bonuses like free weapons and outfits.
If you go for the regular edition I don’t think you’ll notice these “missing” things.
This was a stunning game.
Yeah but it has way more than 15 bucks worth of content and I’m about as cheap as they come.
Such as being bored on different colored horses, not caring about a single human in the game, watching precious seconds tick away from your life as you watch annoying animal skinning animations to upgrade your gear.
RDR2 is a fucking incredible game with easily 50-100+ hours of enjoyable content if you only play it once. Crazy take
My favorite part was when the two cowboys went up the mountain to herd sheep. Very enjoyable.
You mean the part where you go up on a mountain to ambush a pair of shepherds with your newly-purchased scoped rifle, intimidating them into abandoning their flock by sending bullets whizzing past their ear, herding the flock into town to collect payment only to be pegged as rustlers and forced to haggle to buy the auctioneers’ discretion? The mission that leads you directly to Leviticus Cornwall, one of the game’s main antagonists, and a major holdup/shootout? Yeah that IS a pretty good mission.
So yeah that mission was so cookie cutter and done a thousand times before you confused it for a cowboy movie. The one where at the end they tell each other what a" good fuckin life they could have had together." Such original. Lol

I didn’t confuse it for anything. That’s what happens in the mission. The shootout is what makes you move camp.
