I think they should make another main line movie, and have a variant of the death star. That would amazing.
Amazing because of how lifeless the creativity on display would be.

Ironically more useful; multiple firing arrays at lower power settings mean it can selectively reduce its destruction to merely glassing a planet, cracking it open, or total obliteration. I mean having a super weapon is all well and good but obliterating a planet is usually overkill.
They are Sith, they have to deal in absolutes.
Why can’t they just turn a dial down? Or maybe they can. It was a terror weapon, not an efficiency weapon. Your entire planet being just gone and not even a grave site people can visit is a pretty scary thing.
