Given that Musk just recently made a hand gesture that was widely interpreted as a Nazi salute at Donald Trump’s inauguration…

I really wish we would stop adding all the extra words around this.

    Musk gave a Nazi salute.

If you play his nazi salute next to an actual video of Hitler doing his nazi salute it is effectively a frame by frame copy.

He did it twice to make sure we knew it wasn’t an accident.

Stop with all the “some people might have interpreted it as a Nazi salute under certain circumstances and at the right lighting and when the moon is waxing crescent” bullshit.

From Six Colors to True Colors.

Fire Tim Cook, maybe Apple can save some of the goodwill they still have left by putting a product engineer in the driver seat again.

Agreed. This is just another reason though. For what it’s worth, I vote “against” for him with my handful of shares.

And unsurprisingly the Apple bootlickers are attacking and namecalling anyone who suggests we move away from Apple. The chuds really came out full force on that thread.

I started ignoring most of them recently. I unsubscribed from most of the podcasts and only listen to the remaining ones when I have exhausted all other entertainment.

I am still following some of the Apple Journalists on Mastodon, a lot of them are also very disappointed in the direction Apple is taking.

Personally, I am not in the market for any new computers because my current machines fulfil my needs. There is nothing in any manufacturers roadmap that interest me.

I am interested in repurposing some of my old hardware that functions perfectly but is no longer supported. I plan on installing Debian Linux on anything that can’t run Haiku, but I will keep a small partition of the original OS for any emergency firmware updates.

Why would they do that? What do they have to gain?

I’ll believe it when I see it. And if it happens I’d imagine there will be huge pushback from Apple employees.
