Just a note on terminology, but subreddits are called communities here (hence the c/ in the url), not feddits. Also, the software this place runs is called Lemmy, so most places discussing it will have Lemmy in the name not Feddit. Is there a Feditt to ask if there are existing feddits, like r/findareddit?
You can’t change your username, but you have a setting called ‘Display name’ which can be changed and will be what shows up in most places, e.g. my username is flamingos but my display name is flamingos-cant which is the name you see.
