Reading Lost Connections made me lose trust on FDA, Watching You Don’t Know Nicotine made me lose trust on WHO, I dunno but the more I delve deeper into Health Science the more I divert to popular opinions, am I getting insane or the world is?, is my beliefs an opinion or a prejudice?, am I overeducated or semiliterate?

You’re like some people distrusting Google and other big tech companies but still using their products. It’s okay to have some paranoia after you read some “revelations,” and it wears out over time. I was like this a few years ago, but then realized that life “is too sophisticated.”

I’m not keen or care of anything what happen to the world anymore like I used to. The Election 2022 was my boiling point. It is a waste of time and energy.

your young, the more you know, the more you realize that the world is not a fairytale.

take for example yung phone na gamit mo, did it cross to your mind yung components niyan most likely mula sa slave labor ng tsina and those rare minerals from minings like sa africa na pag-aari ng mga warlords.

heck even democracy. akala mo because its popular among those given voice it is for the best, that’s just illusion.

yes I’m aware of such malpractices, I also knew malpractices in other industry like porn and fast fashion, In fast fashion I learned a lot of companies are getting labor for less wage in 3rd countries and the proletariats environment is also physically abusive I watched it in “The True Cost”, Age for me is also irrelevant imho

This is true. You’ll also reach an impasse as you grow older and realize that it’s impossible to be morally and logically consistent. Like supporting that the minimum wage should be higher… but then you pay carpenters or maids what you can afford legally instead of what they deserve because you also have your own bills to worry about.

Heck, I still watch my sports team despite having an anti-vaxxer/anti-semite and an owner that promotes NFTs and crypto (that actually ended up swindling fans).

pagdating kasi sa min wage, itaas but also itaas in general yung wage upto mid class, where to get the money? tax the ultra rich.

it’s unethical, na sa iilan lang yung yaman, na kahit sa kaapoapuhan di na nila kailangan magtrabaho sa grabe ng yaman.
