Yeah… I took a few looks recently and it is definitely a hot mess. One of the meme subs that I used to go to has devolved into just outright porn disguised as a “meme”. Lemmy also has, at least from personal experience, less overall hostility/toxicity. It’s a nice reprieve from the never-ending attacks on reddit.
