Once you complete your CFSC (Canadian Firearm Safety Course) you can apply for your PAL/RPAL ((Restrcited) Possesion & Acquisition License) from the RCMP, after a couple months of background checks you’ll receive your license in the mail.
Most firearms owners will opt to buy a safe first and then hit the gun-stores where they’ll have all the knowledge you need in regards to our laws.
Do they enact a new law every time a new gun model comes out?
In fact it’s the opposite! A new law comes out banning a specific selection of firearms and manufacturers just make new ones under different model names.
Quite sure the Adler Arms RF-224 TAC 22Lr was made specifically with the ban in mind.
Still, the whole thing with “list of forbidden guns” sounds, if nothing else, tedious.
