I also liked this book. As an aside, you might like “A Psalm for the Wild Built”. It’s VERY similar in vibe, not fantasy though. Hard to say sci-fi as it doesn’t feel super futuristic other than sentient robots that have disappeared.

I’ll leave it there but it was the same relaxed vibes of L&L.

Hmm, I’d probably call it PG13.

The prologue has some fantasy violence / gore, and the main side plot is lesbian romance. Some sexual tension, and I think a fade to black, but I don’t remember anything explicit.

I don’t know if this would bother you, but the language was like fantasy blue-collar. The protaganist is an orc and curses a lot, but I feel they were fantasy swear words and I don’t remember seeing any F-bombs

The book’s main appeal is this wholesome, cozy vibe though. Even if some of the elements are for adults, it’s got good morals and a heartwarming message

Not all olives are making bright green oil though? Not all olives are green. Unripe olives are green and the go purple to black as they ripen. Black olives are fully ripe and d not press bright green.

The olives you press for oil are green though. They have a higher fat content.

And no, they are not all as green as the photo. Even without filtration, just allowing settling , the oil is much more clear. It’s still green though with the taste of olive oil, and a lot of grassy flavors.

That’s just after the olives are ground up. Pressing them is a couple of steps down the line. Where the oil comes out of the press a mossy-brown in color.

All information that was in the replies of the tweet. Including several from the author herself where she talked about going on an olive orchard tour and watching them do the whole process from start to finish.

This is the book, The song of Achilles. It is about Achilles and his lover Patroclus during the Trojan war.

I haven’t personally read it, but I doubt aliens figure in heavily.

Still way too green or even yellow for any healthy human person, though. Definitely some serious liver or kidney issues.
