Why don’t titles sponsored by one company also do extra work for free to support a different company’s competing proprietary technology?

It’s not quite the same though. AMD makes FSR available for the market whereas Nvidia hoards DLSS like goblins with their treasure.
Also Nvidia cards can use FSR
Why does the article make it sound like a game adopting the solution working on all gpu brands is worse than adopting the solution working on only one brand? Also it assumes AMD is using the same exclusivity tactics Nvidia did in the past, completely ignoring how different the situations are and without any proof.
