I downloaded this and took a quick look. It was published in April 2024 but says it is written for the 2018 version of Rust and doesn’t include more recent features like async. In other regards it looks useful. I’d appreciate any wisdom about how important Rust’s post-2018 developments are for users.
That refers to the Edition, and all development up to January 2024 (rust 1.84) was edition 2018. With rust 1.85, Edition 2024 came out.
