Its kinda crazy that the range of how much negative social feedback folks are comfortable with ranges from “no downvotes” to “a community made specifically to publicly shame people they disagree with”
I don’t say that punitively, it’s just interesting. To me the right balance is downvotes being enabled but I don’t think this kind of community would have a good effect on the culture of this space.
Thinking about people potentially talking about me behind my back like this is not doing wonders for my social anxiety.
