This is why the film industry still uses magnetic tape LTOs for long-term storage. Optical discs are terrible for archive storage.

I mean, that seems fair, no? I’ve had to reach out to Paramount for a few bad disks, and besides taking like 6 weeks to get a replacement, it was fairly painless.
