“If the October Revolution wouldn’t have succeeded, you would have seen that socialist parties were the REAL fascists!”

Yeah, that’s about the level of ‘Left Unity’ I expect from tankies.

“Anti-authoritarianism is actually support of the status quo”

    Jesus Christ.

    “Anti-authritarianism opposes all revolution”

When you are casually admitting that you are replacing pest with cholera. Leave it to hexbears to see nothing wrong with that.

I think it’s that trans folk are overrepresented online due to increased participation in internet communities from often facing hostility from their face-to-face communities (I’ve been in communities that aren’t LGBT-relevant but have like 30%+ trans folk), online communities have a larger proportion of younger people (who are more likely to be LGBTQ), and tankies are terminally online*. Combine those three factors and trans folk can end up appearing more prominent amongst tankies, when it’s probably more just a case of overlapping social circles rather than any exceptional appeal of tankie-ism to trans folk.

So, the closest thing they had to a middle class. Business owners and successful farmers.

        Yikes.

          Not even that successful.

The average value of the goods which were confiscated from the kulaks during the policy of dekulakization (раскулачивание) at the beginning of the 1930s was only 170–400 rubles (US$90–210) per household.

“A peasant family of 8 has about 200$ between them. Clearly this is the bourgeoisie Marx was warning us about.”

This is something you still see today with the far left, r/newzealand has a few cookers like that. They rage against the middle class, while the billionaires screw us all.

            So incredibly stupid and short-sighted.
