For most countries that are the percentages the numbers of new car registrations by brand went down compared to same month last year.

As these are published monthly by the respective countries we can get a glimpse at the new car sales for each brand. In Germany for example in February 25 there were 76% less new car registrations Tesla compared to February 24. Meaning there were 76% less new Tesla sold than a year before.

Probably sales from the looks of the numbers, which is way more important.

It’s a bit dramatic though, as much of the drop is from competition.

Not to trow sand in the gears, but let’s wait until the numbers after the launch of the new model Y comes in. Some buyers might waiting for that one.

Why? Are they eager to have their car set on fire?

Nobody should be buying a Tesla in 2025. It literally funds Nazis.

OP is right, not everyone pays much attention to what’s going on, or doesn’t think much of it from their information sphere.

That being said, I wouldn’t expect good sales either.

I dont think people grasp that he doesnt really care about tesla anymore, his shareholders are having a stroke, but he personally, has other sources of wealth that are more important to his megalomania now, namely starlink and spacex, and all the government subsidies that come from them.

at the end of the day, tesla is just a car company, and when you’re a megalomaniac trying to design the entire world to your liking, thats small fry stuff

well, sort of. see, the way money works at that scale, everything is about leveraging stuff.

and a lot of his stuff is leveraged off tesla stock. so it won’t kill him, but it will at least make an example of him, and be a substantial hit to his assets. like, change the way he lives hit to his income.

edit: assuming the banks don’t just slobber all over his dick giving him a pass and free money. which they may.

Whether you think elections matter or not, whether you think we’re still getting real ones or not, we’re so far past that point. they’re fucking disappearing people, dude.

Eutelsat is providing a Nazi-free alternative to Starlink, and NASA is being shut down and I doubt the ESA or CNSA will want to cooperate with SpaceX.

He did. But he stole it from the US government / tax payers. Every president since Obama has fallen over themselves to pour tax payer money into his arsehole. And he is living the high life because of it. This is literally what the US wants. They love subsidising this bitch.

      Tank his net worth.

It’s not just his personal worth. Twitter purchase was/is largely dependent on Tesla stock. So he’s not only losing his own credit and should the trend continue some big players in investment business won’t be happy either. He has been an useful idiot on raising the stock prices, but he is very much sacrificial if the things go too far. I don’t know why he hasn’t been replaced already, but the trend in US of A seems to be that you can do whatever stupid shit you can come up with and keep doing that without consequences. So maybe the big players are still benefiting from what he and the other guy are doing.

The thing is, not really sadly. He pretty much gave up on tesla. Most of his money doesn’t come from Tesla but from spaceX, and he uses his new place and contacts at the government to get contracts and stuff with SpaceX and destroy the concurrence.

Tesla may be a bigger company, but he has more share in SpaceX, he has been selling Tesla for years.

I know what you saying but the average would be adding those percentages together and dividing by the number of countries listed, which is -44.7% and is not getting the total sales for each year across all countries and get that -47.7% shown as total and is a more meaningful number because those markets are different sizes

I still find it hilarious that he supposedly has a 165 IQ when everytime he opens his mouth he sounds so unintelligent and stumbles over words and uses meme language. I have never heard that man say a single intelligent thing in all the time I have known of his existence.

I wonder what Chinese bloke he hired to take his IQ test for him.

Musk has never been a genius. He’s a rich nepo baby who has purchased other people’s hard work and passed it off as his own. For years. He has never developed or created anything himself. Being super rich and buying promising start ups only to tank them and ruin the lives of the people who were invested in the business does not demand many IQ points. The drugs could certainly have chopped off a few more points, but do not tell me this man is or ever was a genius. He is a conman. The shit he does with the US government currently is literally what he’s done with everything he’s touched in his career. He buys his way in and plunders it from the inside until it no longer serves him and then he moves on to the next thing.

There is a reason why I call him a human cancer.

Nah, the drug abuse is just another fuck-up in a long string of fuck-ups. The dude’s always been a weirdo, he just didn’t have the balls to go full Monty until the entire world started fluffing him up as the IRL Tony Stark. He feels invincible and it’s pretty much our fault. I know I had some hope in what he was doing (even if just for a lack of better options), do I feel stupid now…
