I’d drop in something about wanting a big steak when I got home, I’m veggie so that would alarm people. It’s also something the kidnappers will only know if I tell them, so it’s safe.
I have a feeling that they would immediately say, “but you don’t eat steak” and the kidnapper would be like, “WTF.”
You’d tell them right away
Veggie steaks exist right, so might still lead to some confusion. Maybe specify the animal.
