Is there a way to disable images in DMs?
I love that this evasion tactic totally defeats the purpose by getting rid of the hyperlinks so that you’d have to type out long URLs manually in order to be suckered in 😄

Dunno why you would want to block pics from my girlfriend.
However, I don’t think there is a way to filter out specific content types in DMs unless it’s a feature of your client. (I would submit a request to your devs for your mobile client, and I am not sure if custom browser plugins exist for Lemmy yet.)
