I work for a mega corp that has eliminated almost all support positions so now I, as an engineer making six figures, get to spend 45 minutes ordering lamination sheets and then another 45 minutes printing and collating production orders. There’s a reason to have support staff.

Microsoft: We’re laying off all of our experienced coders and workers to make line go up downsizing/restructuring our company to improve our business. Also we’re shoving AI into all of our products and you can’t stop us.
