I, for one, will just stop logging in altogether until this gets fixed, it’s not like I don’t have a huge backlog of other games to play 🤷♀️

It is a dress up gacha game. You spend virtual currency that’s trickled out to you for free, and is buyable with real money, in order to gamble at which clothes you receive from a set of clothing. There is a system that guarantees you’ll only have to spend that currency a certain number of times before you are guaranteed to receive a piece you don’t have from a specific outfit, one they have out for a limited time, in that set. The amount of pieces in the outfit, and thus the amount you need to spend to be guaranteed the outfit, was raised.
Might be other changes where players are expected to spend more for the same amount of gain too.
Also, along with the extra monetization in this update there were a lot of bugs and other technical issues.
Basically the game became more predatory than it was before patch 1.5.
Basically. I’d still recommend the person you replied to give it a shot… once the boycott is finished, and if they know they are not susceptible to monetization tactics in video games ;) I rarely pull for outfits, so besides technical issues none of the problems affect me. I just have a good time with the legitimately good gameplay. However, I’m also just not logging in in support of the boycotters.
