What is the main point of FINAL FANTASY?
Using the power of friendship to kill a god.
Working together to solve the problems that face the world. Rejection of cynicism and embracing hope. Fighting to survive. Look at this huge bird.
Each Final Fantasy, as far as I’m aware, has the singular purpose of telling such an interesting story with such interesting mechanics that the company that owns the game does not go out of business.
main point of it is shiny stones(sun, crystals, materia, garnet, comet) go brrrr.
oh, and also cid.
Da da da da da da da da daaaaaaaaaaaa
I hear it.
Making line go up.
Spiky hairs and mini games that make you regret being born.
Honestly, how I felt with Rebirth and seemingly every side story being based around mini games. All for mini games, not for them being forced.
I remember there being some sort of story line infused mini game in FF8 that was needed to be done to further the main triple triad story.
Finding the broken combo that will beat the superboss
2 Materia, one being +50% HP materia (9999hp), Lucky 7s for Emerald Weapon.
Always comes to mind.
Not turn based combat anymore…
Entertainment
to beat the game.
To progressively make games worse in the hope that customers finally get to experience their last final fantasy game and regret it before they die. It is foretold that one amongst them will rise up in the afterlife, become a warrior of light, and strike the gods down to deny such a cruel fate. On that day, SE will have fulfilled its prophecy…and somehow it ends with chocobos and moogles.
I felt this was after they started going 3d. Ff7 was ok, but they started to lose me on this released. Disliked everything afterwards.
Super stoked for EthrA. This is what I have always wanted visually for finally fantasy. I cannot stand this live action nonsense and over the top visuals that clutter the screen. I want great story, and simple combat. Make me care about the characters, not my rotation…
Oh, it was satire. I thought I was pretty clear, but I should have known better. Either that or it wasn’t funny. I can deal with that too.
