I used Linux Libre kernel for a bit - honestly surprised at how well most things still worked? The biggest downside seems to be Wi-Fi drivers - except for that one Atheros card, none of the modern Wi-Fi cards will work without Linux firmware blobs

I have beef with an ath9k card. My qca9377 is the slowest wifi card I’ve ever used. Also for that card, debian doesn’t ship with support for it by default. Intel cards seem to have a better track record.

Same could’ve once been said about a free OS like Linux. Now it is absolutely possible, with the downsides shrinking bit by bit.

The goal of 100% free is one I support. And these people are working to make it possible.
