If you have ever watched or read Monkey and Journey to the West this is shown by the pilgrims sailing to the other shore of a river in a bottomless boat.
One of the pilgrims, the real life person Tripitaka, wrote this sutra.
I have no idea what it means but it is very pretty and dexterous :)
