I’m planning to emulate my favorite games on my low end phone device. Of course, like I said, it’s low end with a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. Currently, I have sudachi installed on my phone and I simply have one question: What games can I hope to run on this phone? Right now, I only take three factors in consideration to see if a game could run or not:

  • Whether it’s 3D or not. 2D games are more likely to run than 3D ones after all.
  • Its age. Older games usually work well on most machines, though I prefer newer/modern games most of which are indie titles.
  • Its genre(s). Strategy-based games work well than action-based ones, for example.

Are there any other factors I should take into consideration or is there anything else I’m missing?

    Sorry to say this, but with your GPU there’s no way you can emulate a switch, even for non graphically intensive games.

    The consoles you can emulate are very limited compared to the switch, and those old games have so many crazy optimizations that new games don’t have.

    I recommend you look into classic games for old consoles or native Android games instead. If you want to run non-intensive switch games well, you need one of the following:

    1. A mid-range to high-end PC, preferably at least a Zen 3 or later or 12th gen Intel or later, although you might be fine with a couple generations behind those
    2. An Android phone with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 or better, 8 Gen 2 or better is ideal
    3. A handheld with those SoCs or better, with an OS that can run Switch emulators
    4. An actual Nintendo Switch
