For some reason, I get an error whenever I try to post any text or image to any federated communities. This happens in WefWef, Connect, and Jerboa on Android. Haven’t tried any other apps/sites yet.
I’m not sure if local ones work, but if you can see this post, then I guess it worked.
Yeah, and sometimes my comments get duplicated. Growing pains of the fediverse.
Glad to know it’s not just me. Is there a fix for it or just keep trying? I haven’t been able to post at all outside of lemmy.one in the past few days.
Find a better instance to use. Some are overloaded and from my very limited understanding so far of the tech, where you have an account or where you tell your client to “enter”, you’re limited by that instance’s resources to serve you up what you’re viewing.
When I moved, it’s now like night and day in terms of performance and responsiveness. Still get the occasional problem but totally usable.
It was working for me through wefwef earlier. I’m sorry I’m not more helpful.
