What unsolved issues in existing note apps are you trying to solve in your app?

What design principles are you trying to implement (ie privacy first, local/cross device sync, markdown support, tags, etc)?

@pishadoot Not unsolved, but things I want… simple, easy sorting, I want to be able to create my notes from the cli without having to open th gui at times, and in the future I want to implement p2p sync between mobile and desktop as to not depend on cloud services or an external server.

Thanks for the response. I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen a CLI based notes program but honestly I never thought to look. Have you ever seen any that do that?

What type of sorting are you looking for? I’ve always found that tagging and responsive search functions that match character strings has worked for me.

Only issue I could potentially run into is that all my notes that have stuff about sexuality are mixed together with my recipes and config files so if I run a search with someone in the room weird shit might pop up lol… Haven’t had the problem yet but I think it’ll end up happening eventually.

I never said anything at all about selling, what are you talking about.

OP wants feedback on yet another notes app (no offense OP) and I wanted to know what they were after before I decided to give it a try.

OP said they want something that works in the way they want it to, but didn’t describe any of what that means.

        Take a hike
