That’s a great picture. There are a ton of hawks/eagles/kites where I just moved and getting one in my yard is so awesome. I wish I had a better camera.

I spotted a Mississippi Kite in my yard a few days ago after seeing a couple of them in the air and they’re quickly becoming my favorite raptor.

Beautiful shot. Do you have an ID on that bird?

Edit: I’m a beginner in birding but my guesses would be either a young coopers hawk or a broad-winged hawk?
