I use Arch, by the way.
I use Arch, by the way.

…Do I have to say it for each computer? I’m about to put it onto a third, too… probably only supposed to say it once. Maybe the wiki has an answer. Not like there’s a handbook to consult… on that thought, the Gentoo handbook should probably specifically mention not to mention being a Gentoo user 😅😢

I’ll probably switch back to Gentoo eventually :-\ Back and forth (not the language, though Forth is kinda neat) I go, eternally bouncing between Arch and Gentoo.

I tried various distributions like Ubuntu, Arch, Mint, … and came to Manjaro (based on Arch) and now using it everyday on laptop and PC. Doesn’t matter if for work, programming or personal use. And the communitiy is great!

At least for the vegan part today it’s the other way round

It’s kind of normal to have vegan options on a menu but when you go out with someone and order that option everyone asks you about that and wants you to explain why you ordered that

I feel you. Nowadays people just don’t want to hear a no. Oneday I was out with some people I knew after work and everyone except me ordered a beer but I just didn’t want one and ordered an ice tea. But then they offered me one and I had to say again that I don’t feel like it on that day.

On an other day my brass band got invited to play on a neighborhood festival (I don’t know if that word exists but its like a big meet with all the families in a neighborhood). And because I came with my motorcycle and in switzerland there’s a rule that you can’t drink until you drive 2 years (0.0‰) I declined all offers for a beer. But there was this dad I knew from my childhood who asked like every five minutes why I don’t want a beer and I had to explain it every time.

Just accept a no. Don’t ask a second time or just offer something. You order me a beer just that I can’t decline? Not with me but hey, you have another for you.

but there are plenty of other user who don’t write what of them they are. probably because the more of you are, the higher is the possibility to say it😂
