Today’s game is Uncharted 1. I kind of had to put this together after being in a situation where I only had my PS3 on hand but not my PC. So I played some more of this game out of the selection I had on hand. I forgot how difficult this game can be at times compared to 4 or even 2 and 3.
This specific section is the one that has given me the most trouble. I kept getting flanked by an enemy with a shotgun. Couple that with the game’s awkward choice of shoulder buttons to aim and shoot and it’s like trying to fist fight with tic tacks. I got through it after like 4 attempts though and made my way into the catacombs.
And these damn catacombs have me on edge, because I know I’m inching closer to when those damn zombie things appear. I just don’t know exactly when they appear so I’m always on edge waiting for one to spring out and maul me to death. Still though, I feel like I have a bit to go. I’m not sure though.

I was thinking of that when I selected the picture lol. Blink is a good episode, albeit it’s not one of my personal favorites. I still respect what it is though
I think the stress of that area took a few years off my life
It definitely throws you through a loop. Then the later Zombie Cannibal things take a few more off for good measure
Yeah, there were couple of fights where I died quite a bit too, don’t recall if it was this same location or not though.
It can be a fun series to revisit.
I love the franchise to death. I did a crushing run of Uncharted 4, but I don’t think I could do one of the First 3. It’s like Halo 2 Legendary where everything is an insta kill
I got the Nathan Drake Collection for free during the pandemic. Only got around to playing Uncharted 1 a couple years ago.
It wasn’t bad, it just felt dated.
Instead of remastering/remaking The Last of Us or Horizon for the Nth time, Sony should’ve worked on an Uncharted remake for the PS5.
Damn. I’m so fucking disappointed I missed that for free. The Nathan Drake collection was my first exposure to this franchise on PS4 and I had to sign into an uncles PSN account every time I wanted to play it
