The map depicts both North and South Korea. The only thing ‘off’ is that both parts are colored as Korea. But that’s only strange until you remember that both parts claim to be the sole governor of the whole peninsula. Just like both the GDR and FRG claimed to be governors of all of Germany.

this isn’t actually such a bad map. if you ever tried to custom cut a world map or satellite image without cutting thru too much land and then stretch it to rectangular shape, you know the struggle
