One thing I really wish iOS copied is access to the entire file system when you plug in the phone into any system.

Compared to iOS it is. You get access to most of the folders that are visible through file explorers on Android when you hook it up to any desktop OS.

On iPadOS it is just the DCIM folder. So got to use stuff like air drop, wifi transfer, or upload files as a work around. Or iTunes…

Same story every year. I think it would be easier to list the changes apple implemented without seeing it first on an Android.

I wish it would copy the gesture, especially the super easy to use back swipe gesture that doesn’t just work on the left side in certain ways and on certain apps.

That back gesture on android is a system level gesture. On iOS it is an app level thing. If it doesn’t work it’s because the app developer was lazy when they made their own custom navigation controller. File bugs and leave low rating reviews.

I wish they would copy the easy to use file system (so the phone appears as storage when plugged in via usb, rather than just DCIM) and so you can throw something onto the phone and any app can use it instead of the laborious annoying way you have to share the file with the app.

      Never.

This, along with sideloading is what keeps me on android.

It being “not important” to those that like to flip flop between the two os’ feels like an alien concept.
