THIS IS WHAT FASCISM IS AFRAID OF! PEOPLE! ITS JUST AFRAID OF PEOPLE!

People might be upset that nobody threw any haymakers but its honestly far smarter to do what they did. Physically assaulting those nazis would have gotten a gun drawn (the uniformed one literally reached for his in the first 2 minutes but thought better of it).

Successfully interfering with the arrest without getting shot or arrested yourself is possibly the best you can expect from these interactions.

This is true in this case, but I don’t know that I agree it is always the case. I have seen some videos where the ice agents deserve nothing less than a gunshot to the dome in that exact moment.

At some point soon, someone will come to that same conclusion and will be in a position to act on it.

Don’t get me wrong, that’d be awesome too. But when it’s two against 50 like that, it’s better to force them to retreat than to escalate when you don’t need to.

The results are always what matters. Escalate as needed but never be afraid to escalate. If they start throwing down, respond appropriately. If they pull a weapon, be ready to pull one in turn but never be the first to fire.

The goal isn’t to cause harm but to save someone from the hands of oppression. Starting fires helps bring the building down but it doesn’t do much to get the people out before that happens.

Get those who need the help away then stand your ground until the fascists back off so they can’t give chase. just know to be ready and prepared for retaliation as you have now bucked the reigns of authority.

They were too busy trying to pin down the guy, those guns could’ve… fallen off… then it’d be them vs a mob.

Wanted to see the crowd do more. But ij the end I’m glad they did something, even if it wasn’t very much.

The loose walkie talkie and zip ties seemed like an easy snatch. And they definitely were too distracted to deal with a punctured tire.

No, they did. They did the most powerful thing we can do.

      They came together.

That’s survival of the fittest mother fuckers. That’s how humans survived for so long. Not the strongest or wealthiest human. The society.

It tears me apart to see this dude in distress as that pig tries to corner them, handcuf them. I applaud to the temper of a white shirt guy who kept wrapping around the victim without any direct confrontation. I don’t feel I could’ve made it in both scenarios.

Small rock or bb pushing on the valve stem when the little cap is twisted on or a biker valve stem removal tool loosening it off would be less noticed at first

Damn… shit just sad… can’t imagine how much worse it’d be seeing it first hand, or worst, experiencing it yourself, first person. Fuck ICE.

I was wondering when they’d start fighting ICE, as the title suggests. Surprised ICE just left. Like, what?! That was some “swiper, no swiping” type shit. Though I’m glad they left, honestly. Again, fuck ICE. That shit just disheartening.

Wishing Latin Americans, and others in situations alike, all the best. Y’all don’t deserve this shite.

ICE. The same people 5 years ago cried and screamed that they couldn’t wear masks while working, they couldn’t breathe, now refuse to be seen without masks while running after parents and children.
