Email and network security company Barracuda warns customers they must replace Email Security Gateway (ESG) appliances hacked in attacks targeting a now-patched zero-day vulnerability.

    I used these extensively while working at an MSP a few years back. Didn’t like them then, definately won’t touch them now.

    My understanding is that most Barracuda products use a custom Linux distro. I’m not buying their claim that it was a zero-day.
