I’ve had to stop using em-dashes and I love the opportunity to use em-dashes 😥
Stupid LLMs don’t even use them correctly.
I just learned that term ‘em-dash’ and I’m going to check it out.
I will say I’ve started using semicolons more. I feel like we don’t use them enough.

Hot take: correct use of em-dashes is one of the best ways to tell that a text isn’t AI generated. Humans know where to put those things, even if we can’t define the rules in words. ChatGPT just slaps them things down willy
