“Track AI adoption”. FU very much, @jetbrains - sounds like the “Copilotcrapping down your throat” approach.

That line is a negative, but the other lines are positive. Being able to set policies for AI on an organizational level is a positive. Limiting costs is also a desired feature.

@supergarv @jetbrains I’m considering stopping using jetbrains IDE because of the overload of AI tooling that’s being pushed. I’m using phpstorm for more than 10 years. A few years ago I said, I cannot work without that tooling.
But with so many processes watching my work, the application becomes slower, sometimes the auto completion is confusing me more than it helps. And the terminal completion is blocking my regular flow of work. Breaking my customized shell
    Please give us an IDE.

I’ve canceled my sub once they announced moving towards AI, and I’m using one of the perpetual licenses I have, i think it’s 2023 or 2024. (In case you don’t know, you can use the version you’ve been subbed to for a year forever even if you unsub).

So far, didn’t have any issues. I only work on Unity games, though, so I don’t really use much features, and I do anything other than C# in LazyVim.
